GirlsGather Morning Bible Study

How do you approach prayer? Do you worry you are not doing it “correctly”? Do you see it as an obligation to check off a to-do list? Do you think of it as a last resort—a kind of supernatural SOS when you need help? Regardless of whether you think you "need help" in the prayer department, this is a great time of getting in the word and building relationships in community with other like minded women.

Join us for this 6 week study on prayer. We don't think you could ever do too much study about prayer in order to familiarize ourselves with the habit and the comfortability of it. Our studies are for women of all ages and you don't need to attend our church in order to come. GirlsGather is a super inclusive community of ladies.

In this Pray First video Bible study, Pastor Chris Hodges shares proven ways to help you spend time in conversation with God—and enjoy every minute of it. You will gain tools to bring joy back into your time with God, explore prayers in the Bible, learn about fasting (an often overlooked discipline), and discover biblically grounded methods for making prayer a priority and not an afterthought.

PENLIFE KIDS VBS

Please join us for VBS 2024 at Peninsula Life Church! At our Scuba themed VBS we are diving into friendship with God! We will lead kids into an amazing undersea adventure where they'll experience the ever-flowing, never ending love of God. Each day kids will submerge themselves in the Bible stories and uncover the true essence of the living waters! This is a 4 day event from July 15th-18th, 2024 from 9am-12pm for Preschool 3.5 years old to 5th grade. (must be fully potty trained) The cost is $30 per child for all 4 days, snacks included.

This is the women’s event you’ve been waiting for all year!! Come for a great word, testimonial, worship and take advantage of photo ops, new merch for sale and a fun after party. We will have Melville Pizza & a coffee truck as well as some yummy dessert and mocktails. The coffee truck is pay on your own but everything else is included in your ticket cost.

Our guest speaker is Ashley Wilkerson from Pacific Church of Tacoma and we fully believe you will leave this evening knowing God has CREATED YOU FOR MORE than what this world is selling you. The Word says you are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which He prepared ahead of time for us to do. (Ephesians 2:10)

Invite all your girlfriends and we’ll see you there. You don’t need to come to our church to attend and this is the perfect opportunity to invite those friends that don’t necessarily want to come to church yet and we will sow the seed for you.

HEBREW CLASS with Dr. Danny Ben Gigi

Dr. Danny Ben Gigi is the former director of Hebrew programs at Arizona State University and the author of '“The Hebrew English Transliterated Bible” the world’s leading Hebrew Bible program. He is also the author of “First Steps in Hebrew Prayer” and “Psalms of the Heart-the intimate touch of Hebrew psalms.”

The intention of this class is to familiarize yourself with key concepts from the Hebraic point of view. Through the Hebraic point of view we get the core origin of names, customs, presets and Bible verses whose meanings were ‘lost in translation’.
